ARRL Affiliated Club Commission Program

The Forsyth Amateur Radio Club is an Affiliated ARRL Member. As such, we are commissioned to recruit new ARRL members and to renew existing members! To remain an ARRL affiliate club, we need at least 51% of FARC members to be members of ARRL.

One of the benefits to FARC is that when our members either join the ARRL for the first time, or when you renew your ARRL membership “through the Club”, the club receives $20 of what is paid by each New ARRL Membership and $5 for each Annual ARRL Renewal. There is no cost to members or to the club. However, ARRL’s requirement exclude family, student/youth, and blind memberships and are not eligible for this ARRL commission program.

The procedure is simple:

Step 1. Use the link below to open the ARRL Application:

ARRL New Membership Application and Renewal Form

  • Print the form and indicate on the form whether you are “New” or “Renewal. Also, in the center section, circle the price for One Year Standard Membership (other options will not give the club credit). “New members” are defined as never having been a member or a returning member that has not been a member for two years.

Step 2. Use the link below to open the FARC Club Commission Reconciliation Form:

  • Print the form, add the date on line one, and fill out the center section indicating “New” or “Renewal” and the appropriate Commission Amount ($5 or $20)

Step 3. Important: Send an email to the FARC Club Treasurer treasurer@w4nc.com indicating your callsign and that you have paid and sent the forms to the ARRL. Pleas indicate if you are a new ARRL member or renewing with ARRL.

Step 4. Mail both forms along with your check payable to ARRL (if paying that way) to:
